I’m not saying it’s eloquent, but it’s a post

This taco is looking for a stand. Someone should do something about that.

Today I am thankful for the freelance job that currently OWNS MY ASS.

I am thankful to find out that I will put up with much inconvenience, corporate hoo-hah and ridiculous turnaround times for the right price. Apparently, I CAN be bought.

I feel so American.

I am thankful for the lovely and talented and wonderful friend who shot this job my way.

I am thankful for good timing, because the kidsters were away when I needed to work.

I’m thankful no one knocked on the door. It wasn’t pretty. There were outfits. Do yourself a favor, don’t think about it.

I’m thankful I got out for a quick run yesterday and another this morning (during which I played caboose behind Megan on rollerblades and Benjamin on a bike).

I am happy to have my munchkins home with me.

I am thankful that I still have a day job to attend to while handling this freelance thing. When it seems like too much, I remind myself of the above: I can be bought. Also, I’m in love with my paycheck.

I am thankful that I’m usually superfocused early in the morning, because my brain is shot for tonight. I think I need to close down this taco stand and pick it up in the wee hours.

I’m thankful I saw that commercial for Panera, where the guy gets up super early to make bread. It makes me happy to know that while I’m here tapping away at the keyboard tomorrow morning, he’ll be … somewhere … kneading away. I like that guy.

Good night campers.

Just wanted to say I work nights, so while you are tapping and that other guys is kneading, I will be struggling to keep my eyes open. We are all in this together.

We must have solidarity in our exhaustion! My eyes feel like they’re going to melt out of my head right about now…

      Happy Turkey Day, Anastasia!
